On October 23rd and 24th, we held the 25th General Assembly of our association in Turin, Italy, hosted by SCR Piemonte.
The first half of the first day provided an opportunity to visit the Regional Museum of Natural Sciences — a fascinating chance to learn about the rich history of this former hospital and explore its natural history collections from the University of Turin.
During the General Assembly, we discussed key topics such as new political changes, value-based procurement, innovation, new opportunities, sustainability, and potential future collaborations and exchanges.
The General Assembly also served to review the actions taken earlier this year and introduce upcoming initiatives:
- Continuing the implementation of internal webinars to professionalize EHPPA members and associates in areas such as AI, digitalization, and more.
- Organizing the 2nd physical Symposium on Sustainability and Social Value.
- Attending key events within the healthcare procurement ecosystem with EHPPA and its members.
We also took the opportunity to explore the Piedmont Region’s procurement strategies for medications and pharmaceuticals — an insightful session on the region’s innovative approach to healthcare.
We are excited about the future — big developments are ahead for our association and its members!
Stay tuned!
