Kick-off meeting of a new European project
The kick-off meeting of the European project ProCure will be held next January 15th and 16th in Madrid, Spain. This project brings together 13 Member States to carry out an in-depth assessment of the organization of healthcare procurement across Europe. EHPPA and 5 members of the association are part of this exciting new project.

5th European Value-Based Procurement Conference

EHPPA General Assembly#22
The next General Assembly of the EHPPA Association will be held in Geneva on 4 and 5 April 2023, hosted by the CAIB. The GA will be divided into two morning sessions and two field visits: the logistics platform of Vaud-Geneva (PLEXUS-Santé) and the Swiss Foundation for Innovation and Training in Surgery (SFITS).
European Masterclass in Hospital & Healthcare Procurement
On 23 and 24 March 2023, a live session two-days training for procurers was co-created by EHPPA in collaboration with the knowledge network NEVI and Health Proc Europe Association. The 2-day Masterclass program covers a wide range of topics, including cost pressure, digitalisation of procurement, sustainability in tenders, and supplier relationship management. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of strategic procurement, an understanding of the importance of supplier relationship management, and the ability to connect purchasing portfolios to their organisations. Elisabete Coelho (CAIB – EHPPA) and Danny Havenith (Mercurhosp – EHPPA) will be one of the speakers. This masterclass is sold out but another edition will be organised on 21-22 November 2023.

European Hospital and Healthcare Procurement Masterclass
15 senior procurers from EHPPA member organisations will participate to the Hospital and Healthcare Procurement Masterclass in Zeist, the Netherlands. This two-days training for procurers was co-created by EHPPA in collaboration with the knowledge network NEVI and Health Proc Europe Association. The session initially planned in November 2021 had to be postponed due to Covid restrictions.

Value-Based Procurement Community of Practice thematic session
The 30th of June 2021 will take place the thematic session oragnised by Value-Based Procurement Community of Practice. The topic that will be discussed is the following: “The challenges faced in the application and implementation of VBP and the solutions to overcome them”.

EHPPA is associated partner of the event organised by the Value-Based Procurement Community of Practice with the clear ambition to discuss and partner for patient-centric, quality and sustainable health care by adopting Value-Based Procurement and changing procurement practice. Organised for the first time in Brussels on December 12, 2019.
