The Board of EHPPA association comprises   elected representatives whO are appointed by the General Assembly.

The Board is elected for a two-year period.

The current Board was elected during the General  Assembly #23  in DECEMBER 2023,  and their mandate will run until Autumn 2025.

PRESIDENT OF EHPPA

Working in Company Management for 25 years, Danny Havenith started in the finance, administration and quality management of a logistics company. After 8 years of management in printing and press companies, he changed into the health sector. He was the CEO of the private St. Nikolaus Hospital for ten years. He is currently the general manager of MercurHosp, central purchasing body of Wallonian hospitals in Namur, Belgium and independent manager in several companies.

Elvis Fontaine
Elvis Fontaine

Vice-President in charge of knowledge sharing and internal training

With extensive experience in procurement across various industries, Elvis Fontaine is currently serving as Director of Centrale d'Achats et d'Ingénierie Biomédicale VD-GE (CAIB) at HUG – Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève and CHUV – Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois . Leading Switzerland’s largest healthcare and pharmaceutical group procurement organization, he manages strategy, operations, supply chain, and business development. Elvis Fontaine is the Vice President of EHPPA, where he is responsible for organizing training programs for EHPPA members

Gerwin MEIJER

Vice-president in charge of security of supplies 

Gerwin Meijer has worked for 23 years in the healthcare procurement sector. He spent these years in Radboudumc and since 2017 he was a program manager NFU Purchasing Collaboration. In addition, he is the co-founder of Dutch programs for Brexit and MDR-IVDR for hospitals and co-founder of LCH (Dutch consortium for the supply of critical goods due to Covid-19). He has been actively involved in EHPPA and is one of the vice-presidents since 2019. Gerwin Meijer is currently the CEO of the Dutch central purchasing body IAZ (InkoopAlliantieZiekenhuizen).

Louis POTEL
Louis POTEL

Vice-president in charge of external relationships & internal coordination 

Louis Potel has 11 years of experience in the field of European projects and network management. He has worked extensively on creating relationships with European institutions and has been continuously representing Resah and EHPPA in different European events. He has been involved in the management of the EHPPA association since the moment of its creation in 2012. Louis Potel is currently the Head of international affairs and Innovation project coordinator at Resah, the French central purchasing body.

Alyson Brett
Alyson Brett

Vice-President in charge of Sustainable and Social Value

Working in public procurement for many years, Alyson started her career in retail procurement before joining the NHS as a graduate trainee. She then held several roles within local and national NHS trusts, advocating for collaborative procurement at all levels. In July 2007, she founded NHS Commercial Solutions, a collaborative procurement hub for the NHS, which has saved over £300 million while providing end-to-end procurement services. The organization is now celebrating its 17th year of success. Alyson also chairs two groups: one for sustainability and social value in NHS procurement and another at the European level, where she continues to drive innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing the social and environmental impact of public procurement.

Bérénice Cleuet

Secretary of EHPPA

Since 2022, Bérénice Cleuet is the secretary of EHPPA, where she coordinates the association’s activities, manages communication around them, and ensures smooth collaboration among members. She is also in charge of organizing the events held by the association. In parallel, she works as a European Project Manager at Resah (France). She holds a Master's degree in International Relations from ULB (Bussels, Belgium) and a Bachelor’s Degree in European Political Science from ESPOL (Lille,France)
