The European Health Public Procurement Alliance is delighted to announce that after an unanimous vote during the 15^th General Assembly a new member have joined the association in June 2020: AGKAMED.

• AGKAMED is a group purchasing organisation (GPO) founded by hospital (stakeholder = member hospitals) and is a leading economic efficiency since 1993. The overall goal with the affiliated cooperation and service partners is to improve the quality of care in the healthcare system by bundling procurement volumes, standardisation and process optimisation and as well to ensure economical and high-quality care.

With this important membership of German central purchasing body, the EHPPA association strengthens its network across Europe and continues to establish itself as a growing and key player of the healthcare public procurement. We are also happy to announce that the 16^th General Assembly of the EHPPA association will take place in autumn 2020 in the premises of our French member: Resah. If travelling is still impacted by restrictions related to COVID-19 pandemic, the General Assembly will be held online.
