The European Health Public Procurement Alliance is delighted to announce that two new members have joined the association in early 2019: the Catalan Health and Social Care Consortium (CSC) and Amgros.

  • Founded in 1983, CSC is a Spanish public association representing and defending the interests of around 100 associate members and 43,000 professionals, providing them with protection and support to carry out their work in social services and health care. With a clear public commitment, CSC provides valuable services to its associates and works together with them continuing to define its model and overcoming new obstacles in health centres, social services providers, and local town councils. All CSC associates are public or private non-profit bodies.
  • First established in 1990, Amgros is a healthcare procurement organisation owned by the Danish regions. The organisation was established to create economies of scale and achieve administrative savings by centralising the procurement of pharmaceuticals. Since the 1st of January 2007, Amgros has overseen pharmaceuticals procurement for all public hospitals in Denmark. has managed pharmaceuticals procurement for all public hospitals in Denmark.

With these new memberships, the EHPPA association strengthens its network across Europe and continues to establish itself as a growing and key player of the healthcare public procurement. The EHPPA association will continue to pool expertise, leverage performance and provide its members with a strategic position in the health procurement market.
