On 15 and 16 April, EHPPA held its 28th General Assembly, kindly hosted by UMCNL in Nijmegen (the Netherlands).

This General Assembly marked a key milestone for the Association, as it was the first to implement EHPPA’s new strategy and governance model, following the entry into force of the revised Legal Statutes.

A New Governance Model Aligned with EHPPA’s Ambitions

In line with EHPPA’s ambition to strengthen its strategic positioning and impact, the new Legal Statutes introduce important evolutions in the Association’s governance, strategy, and operational functioning.

The former model based on a President and Vice-Presidents has been replaced by a governance structure built around three complementary pairs, ensuring clearer leadership and enhanced coordination

  • Global Strategic Pair, composed of the President and Vice-President
  • Thematic Pairs, composed of a Head of Thematic Division and a Vice-Head of Thematic Division, in charge of representing and leading specific thematic areas of interest
  • Chief Operating Officer (COO)

As part of this governance reform, the Legal Statutes also introduce adjustments to the operational organisation of the Association. In this context, the former role of Secretary has been replaced by a Chief Operating Officer (COO), reflecting EHPPA’s ambition to further professionalize its operations.

EHPPA warmly congratulates Camille Serres, appointed as Chief Operating Officer, and wishes her every success in this role.

Election of the Global Strategic Pair

During the General Assembly, members elected the Global Strategic Pair, which is responsible for the strategic leadership of EHPPA:

  • Danny Havenith was re-elected as President
  • Louis Potel was elected as Vice-President

Together, they will form the new Global Strategic Pair. Congratulations to both on their election.

The Thematic Pairs, composed of two EHPPA members each, will be announced in June 2026.

The thematic areas covered by the Association include:

  • Category Management
  • Innovation
